Prepare golden brown belyashi with potatoes. A thin layer of unleavened dough is combined with a delicate vegetable filling. Delicious ingredients, quick kneading and simple product shaping will be the main advantages of this dish. Tatar belyashi with potatoes, which came into Slavic cuisine, have a distinctive feature. An hour before preparing the dough, take the kefir out of the refrigerator to warm it up a little. Pour kefir into a deep container. Add soda. Actively whisk the ingredients. Leave the resulting mixture on the table for five minutes.
Add flour, salt and sugar.
Knead soft dough. Cover it with cling film and leave it on the table for 30 minutes.
Boil potatoes in salted water.
At the same time, fry finely chopped onion until golden brown.
Mash the finished potatoes and mix with fried onions.
Add salt and black pepper to taste.
Place the risen dough on the work surface and knead lightly. Divide it into six identical pieces. Roll into smooth balls, cover them with cling film and leave on the table for 10 minutes.
Divide the filling into six equal parts. Roll out the rested ball of dough into a thin flat cake. Place a portion of the filling in the center of the circle.
We gather the edges of the cake into folds, pull it towards the center, but do not completely close the product, leaving a small hole. We form the rest of the belyashi in the same way.
Fry the semi-finished products until golden brown in a well-heated frying pan. We first lay out the products with the hole facing down, then turn them over to the other side.
