After all, there is nothing tastier than a dish prepared with your own hands in your own kitchen. Let’s prepare a recipe for belyashi in the oven using yeast dough together!
We prepare the dough for belyashi in the oven from yeast dough. In a deep container, use a hand whisk to mix warm milk with sugar and yeast. Leave the base on the table for 15 minutes.
After activating the yeast, pour warm kefir, vegetable oil into the container and add half a teaspoon of salt. Mix.
Add flour. Knead a very soft elastic dough first in a container and then on the table. Place it in a bowl greased with vegetable oil, cover and leave for 30 minutes.
Let's prepare the filling. Chop the onions very finely or pass them through a chopper. It is better not to use a meat grinder. It turns the onion into a puree, and this affects the taste of the filling. Add onion to the minced meat. Add spices and warm water. Mix everything well.
Place the risen dough on the table, knead it and divide it into 10 equal portions. Roll each piece into a smooth ball. Cover the pieces with cling film and leave for 15 minutes.
We form belyashi. Roll out the ball of dough with a rolling pin into a flat cake. Place 40 g of filling in the middle of the circle.
We gather the edges of the cake towards the center, leaving a small hole. We form the rest of the products in the same way. Stir the filling constantly.
Place the formed products on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush them with beaten egg and bake for 30 minutes in an oven preheated to 200˚C.
Our recipe for baked belyashi made from yeast dough is ready! Transfer them to a serving platter and serve. We complement the baked goods with any cold or hot drinks.
Enjoy your meal!
