Your family asks you to bake pizza for dinner, but you don’t have the time or energy to prepare the dough? Don’t despair right away. Use ready-made puff pastry as the base for this open-faced pie. With its help you will get a delicious dish quickly and without much effort. The idea of cooking pizza on a puff pastry appeared in the 17th century. A student of a French pastry chef has invented an unusual dough with a crispy, airy structure. True gourmets appreciated the benefits of this unusual pastry and spread its recipe throughout the world. The Italians have perfected the delicious French dish. You can use puff pastry without yeast - sausage and cheese pizza will turn out just as good! First of all, defrost the dough according to the instructions on the package. Line a baking pan or baking sheet with parchment paper. Let's prepare the filling. We cut the onion into thin strips, tomatoes and sausage into circles, 3-4 mm high. Three cheeses on a coarse grater. Unroll the dough and leave it on the film. Cut thin strips for the sides. Then remove the layer of dough from the film and transfer it to the mold or on a baking sheet. On top, around the entire perimeter, we place sides.
Using a silicone brush, brush the pizza base with tomato sauce. We do not touch the sides. Place onion strips in a chaotic order on top of the tomato sauce.
The next layer is champignons. Sprinkle them with salt, pepper and dry herbs.
Then lay out the tomato slices.
Place a layer of sausage on top of the tomatoes. Distribute the tomatoes and sausage so that they fill the entire surface.
The last layer is grated cheese. Preheat the oven to 200˚C. Bake the product for 35 minutes. We determine the degree of readiness of the dish by the appearance of the cheese. It should melt well and acquire a pleasant golden color.
Place the finished pizza on a flat dish, cut into portions and serve immediately. As an addition we use mushroom, cream or tomato sauce.
