Prepare a delicious pizza with champignons, mozzarella and parmesan. This popular Italian dish is a round flatbread topped with a savory topping and tender vegetables. From the end of the 18th century to the present day, pizza with mushrooms and cheese has the status of a delicious treat for any occasion. For the test, we suggest using a universal recipe. It has been tested for decades and even centuries. But you can get creative with the filling. Instead of champignons, use other fresh mushrooms, replace mozzarella with feta cheese or suluguni. And in the absence of Parmesan, add dense cheese with a pronounced spicy taste.
Prepare homemade pizza with mushrooms and cheese - pour flour into a small container. Add salt and yeast.
Add vegetable oil. Mix.
Add warm water in small portions. Knead soft dough. Cover it with film and leave it on the table for 40 minutes. During this time, the dough will become plastic and slightly increase in volume.
Line a round mold with a diameter of 20 cm with parchment. It will help you remove the pizza after cooking. We use a saucepan lid as a pattern for the paper backing. Roll out the rested dough in the form of a round cake so that when laid out in the mold, small sides are formed.
Using a silicone brush, brush the pizza base with tomato sauce. It is desirable that it contains aromatic herbs.
Cut the champignons into thin slices and spread in an even layer. We fill the entire surface with them.
Grind the mozzarella on a coarse grater, and grate the parmesan on a grater with small holes. Sprinkle the mushrooms first with mozzarella and then with parmesan.
Cut the tomatoes into quarters. Place them in a chaotic order on the cheese and sprinkle with spices. Our mushroom, tomato, cheese pizza is almost ready. Place the form in the oven, preheated to 200˚C. Baking time – 30 minutes.
