Ordinary chicken cutlets can become a truly festive dish if you add pieces of bacon to the minced meat. It will add a piquant aroma, juiciness and rich taste. We suggest frying chicken cutlets with bacon in a breadcrumb coating for a crispier crust. Use any chicken meat as a base, but the easiest way is to buy fillet (breast), where there is no skin and bones. Thighs are also suitable for minced meat, but you will have to tinker with them to separate the meat from the bones. Cutlets fry quickly in the pan so dinner will be ready in no time. Serve the dish with any sauce or side dish.
Rinse the chicken fillet and cut into large pieces. Also peel and chop the onions. Onions will add extra juiciness to the meat, since the fillet is usually a bit dry on its own. Finely chop the garlic - it will give the dish a piquant note.
Grind the fillet pieces, onion and garlic through a meat grinder - the minced meat is ready.
Beat a chicken egg into the minced meat, add salt and ground black pepper.
Add finely chopped cooked smoked bacon.
Mix the minced meat thoroughly so that all ingredients are combined properly.
Wet your hands with cold water, form round cutlets and roll them in breadcrumbs. Place the preparations in a frying pan with heated vegetable oil.
Fry them on both sides for 5-7 minutes until they turn golden. Turn the heat to medium and then reduce slightly. At the end, you can cover the pan with a lid and simmer the products for another couple of minutes. The minced meat will be completely cooked inside. The cutlets will become more fluffy.
