For a quick lunch or dinner, pan fried rice is perfect. This dish will not cause any problems; every housewife can handle it. A minimal set of ingredients makes a hearty and tasty side dish for the whole family. Thanks to frying, the rice comes out crumbly, tasty and aromatic. Here you can add any spices and vegetables. We tell you how to cook fried rice in a frying pan quickly and easily. Immediately prepare all the necessary vegetables - peel the onions and carrots, then cut them into medium cubes. Vegetables will add extra flavor and bright color to the dish. You can safely replace carrots with red sweet bell peppers, it will also be tasty and colorful.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, add the vegetables and saute them for 3-4 minutes over medium heat, stirring.
Next, add the washed rice to the vegetables. Any rice will do - round or long. It all depends on what you prefer - crumbly porridge or a little more viscous. But it is worth noting that after frying, even round rice will be crumbly, keep this in mind.
Mix the rice with the vegetables and fry everything together for another 3-4 minutes, stirring so that the cereal is fried on all sides.
Add all the necessary spices to the rice - Provençal herbs, salt and ground black pepper. Any spices will be useful here, for example, paprika or marjoram.
Pour in hot water and wait for everything to boil. Then reduce the power, cover the pan with a lid and simmer the rice for 20 minutes until cooked.
Time passed, all the liquid was absorbed, the rice was completely cooked and became soft. Mix everything and you're done!
Serve the fried rice in a frying pan with onions immediately. Complete it with fresh herbs or any sauce.
