Fish cutlets can be prepared not only tasty, but also dietary. For today’s recipe, add eggs and a little oatmeal to the minced fish. The diet fish cutlets will hold their shape well and will not fall apart. From available and inexpensive products, you can prepare a healthy lunch for the whole family. You can buy fish fillets or cut up a whole carcass of any white fish. Hake or pollock are ideal for mincing – such fish have few bones. A little manual dexterity and you will succeed! Diet fish cutlets are juicy, soft and incredibly aromatic. It is better to serve them with vegetables or herbs. If desired, you can complement the cutlets with boiled rice.
Defrost the fish (hake or pollock) halfway, rinse, cut, remove the skin and all the bones. Cut the resulting fillet into medium pieces and place in a blender bowl. Instead of a blender, you can use a regular meat grinder.
Add chopped onion to the fish and beat in a chicken egg. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Prepare the minced meat for the fish cutlets in a blender and mix everything thoroughly.
Transfer the prepared mince into a convenient container, pour in the oatmeal and add a little sour cream. With sour cream, the cutlets will be juicier and more tender.
Mix the minced fish thoroughly and leave it in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes to let the oatmeal swell.
Then, using your hands wet with water, shape the round cutlets and place them in a frying pan with heated oil. Ideally, use a non-stick pan, then you will need very little oil. Fry the diet fish cutlets in a frying pan on both sides for 4-5 minutes, making the fire low.
Serve the rosy and aromatic cutlets to the table. This dish will be delicious both warm and cold.
