How to pamper your family on a day off? Bake a simple and delicious homemade carrot cake with sour cream. Here is an accessible recipe that any housewife can handle. The dough is prepared in no time using beaten eggs, vegetable oil, flour, carrots, sugar and cinnamon. With the addition of carrots, baked goods acquire an appetizing appearance and rich taste. It is very convenient that the cakes do not need to be rolled out – this speeds up and facilitates all processes. For a creamy base, use cream cheese, sour cream and powdered sugar. Let's start the carrot cake recipe at home by making the cake layers. Beat cooled chicken eggs with salt using a mixer for about 1-2 minutes, then pour in odorless (refined) vegetable oil and continue beating for another 1-1.5 minutes until the mixture becomes fluffy and airy.
Then add regular and vanilla sugar, continue whisking with a mixer until all the crystals dissolve.
Add sifted wheat flour with baking powder and cinnamon to the dough. Cinnamon will add an excellent aroma to baked goods. Baking powder will make the cakes fluffy and porous. Stir everything so that there are no lumps of flour. The dough should be smooth and homogeneous.
