Pour warm, slightly heated water into a deep bowl, add sugar, a couple of pinches of salt and crumbled yeast. Mix everything, the components should completely dissolve.
Pour 35 g of sunflower oil into the dough and stir again. With vegetable oil, the dough will be very elastic and pliable.
Start gradually adding the flour, sifted beforehand, while kneading the dough.
Knead soft yeast dough, cover the bowl with a towel, put it in a warm place without drafts. Let the dough rest and rise in volume.
While the dough is rising, prepare the filling. Peel the onions and mushrooms and cut them into small cubes.
Pour some sunflower oil into the frying pan and add the champignons and onions. Fry everything together for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper. Remove the finished filling from the heat and let it cool.
So, the dough has risen and grown almost 3 times (wait until it rises), it’s time to make the pies.
Grease your hands with vegetable oil and divide the dough into equal balls. Press each ball with your palm and put about 1-1.5 tbsp of mushroom filling in the middle.
Form the pies and place them in a frying pan with heated oil. Place the pies on the hot surface with the seam down. Fry them over moderate, medium heat.
Fry the products on both sides for 4-5 minutes until they are golden brown and rosy. Fry all the pies in this manner.
Serve warm. Everyone will love these aromatic pies! You can serve them with any sauce, including sour cream – it will be delicious. Cook delicious recipes for fried mushroom pies with us!
