These ingredients will give the dish juiciness and a piquant taste. The chicken fillet will not be dry, but on the contrary, it will be soaked in vegetable juices and will be as tender as possible. Prepare such French chicken meat from chicken fillet for a festive dinner, bake it in the oven until golden brown – your family will be pleased! Everything is prepared easily and simply, and eaten with pleasure.
Peel the onion and cut into half rings. Don't skimp on the onion here, it will be tastier and juicier with it.
Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil, put a layer of onions on the bottom - this way the vegetables will bake well and be soaked with the juices from the meat and tomatoes.
Cut the chicken fillet into slices like chops. Beat the meat with a culinary hammer, add salt and pepper to taste. The chops can be any size, it all depends on how you cut the meat - along or across the grain.
Place the chicken chops in a pan and spread them over the onion layer. Place the meat as tightly as possible so that there are no large gaps.
Pour mayonnaise over the chicken – this will make it tastier and softer after baking.
Cut the tomatoes into thin slices or half rings.
Place the tomatoes in an even layer on top of the chicken. Salt and pepper the vegetables to taste and sprinkle with aromatic Provencal herbs. These spices go well with all vegetables, including chicken.
Sprinkle the tomato layer with grated cheese - you can use more cheese, it will give the dish a creamy taste and an appetizing golden crust.
Pour mayonnaise over the cheese layer and place the pan in the oven.
Bake the French-style chicken in the oven for about 35-40 minutes at 180℃. The cheese will melt and a golden crust will form on top.
