The most convenient and quick dinner for the whole family is chicken with rice in a frying pan. This way, you will save time and effort, and as a result, you will get both meat and a side dish in one dish. Any parts of the bird are suitable for the recipe for rice with chicken in a frying pan – drumsticks, thighs, fillets, etc. The cereal can be either round or long, at your discretion. Use a variety of vegetables – carrots, onions and sweet bell peppers are perfect. By changing the vegetable set, such a dish can always be diversified. Rice with chicken is a hearty and tasty dish for the everyday menu and not only! The cereal is soaked in meat juice and aroma, and the vegetables make the side dish brighter and richer.
We tell you how to cook rice with chicken in a frying pan. Heat a frying pan with oil over medium heat, put the washed and dried chicken meat in there. Today we had drumsticks - they will be juicy and tender after cooking. Fry the meat for 5-6 minutes, turning it over on different sides so that the drumsticks brown. Then salt and pepper the chicken to taste.
While the meat is frying, prepare the vegetables. Peel the onion, carrot and bell pepper. Cut all the ingredients into cubes. The pepper can be multi-colored – red, yellow or green. If desired, you can add some hot chili pepper.
Add chopped vegetables to the fried chicken.
Mix the meat with the vegetables, fry everything together for 2-3 minutes, so that the onions and carrots become softer. The bell pepper will become more aromatic.
Rinse the cereal until the water becomes clear, drain all the liquid. Add it to the chicken and vegetables.
Pour in hot water, add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Cover the pan with a lid, let the liquid boil, then reduce the heat and cook the dish on low heat for 20-25 minutes until the rice is soft.
Finally, mix the chicken with rice in a frying pan, and the delicious recipe is ready!
