Prepare the most delicate cheese sauce with garlic, and your family table will have a universal seasoning for any homemade food. It goes well with a variety of Italian dishes, pasta, meat, fish and vegetables. This buttercream can be applied to toast or pieces of baguette, added to pizza, or added to lasagna. Classic garlic cheese sauce is made with cream and Parmesan cheese. We offer a simpler, homemade garlic cheese sauce recipe. Replace Parmesan with any hard cheese. And in the absence of cream, we take baked milk of industrial or home production.
Cut the garlic cloves into thin slices. Fry them over medium heat in a frying pan with vegetable oil until very soft. While the garlic is roasting, grate the cheese on a vegetable grater. Using a fork, turn the fried garlic into a puree.
In a small heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. It shouldn't boil.
Add flour to the butter. Mix the ingredients well and fry the flour over medium heat for two minutes.
Add cream or baked milk. Whisk the contents of the saucepan with a hand whisk. Add chopped garlic. Bring the resulting liquid to a boil.
Place grated cheese in a saucepan, add pepper and salt. Bring the liquid to a boil again and reduce the heat on the stove to a minimum. Cook the sauce for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened. At the same time, constantly whisk it.
Remove the prepared cream cheese sauce with garlic from the stove and cool slightly. Taste it and add salt and pepper if necessary. Transfer the sauce to a bowl and garnish with chopped herbs. Store it in the refrigerator in an airtight container for no more than seven days. Before use, warm up the slightly frozen product in the microwave.
Enjoy your meal!
