Prepare all the necessary ingredients in advance and start cooking. Take thin pita bread as a base – it easily and quickly rolls into a tight roll. The sauce will be the simplest – ketchup and mayonnaise. And for the filling, use any sausages and vegetables. The vegetable set is quite varied, so shawarma with sausages will turn out juicy and tasty. Another advantage of homemade shawarma is that you can always change the composition of the products and add whatever you like.
Our sausage shawarma recipe is simple and quick. Unfold the thin pita bread and brush it with ketchup and mayonnaise sauce on one edge. This is where all the filling will be placed.
Add any greens - it could be lettuce or spinach. Also use parsley or green onions if desired. Any greenery will come in handy here. Spread Korean pickled carrots on it and add finely shredded regular white cabbage - it’s crispy and tasty, ideal for shawarma.
Cut fresh cucumbers into strips and tomatoes into medium slices. With fresh vegetables, shawarma with sausage in pita bread will become even juicier. If desired, add a little salt and ground black pepper. Also add a little more herbs - for example, parsley.
Lightly fry the milk sausages in a frying pan lightly greased with vegetable oil. Hot sausages are the best solution, because they become twice as flavorful. Don't miss this moment.

Heat the frying pan, grease with oil and fry the products on both sides until crispy and golden brown. This will take 2-3 minutes. Any frying pan, including a grill, is suitable for frying.
