The main thing is to prepare the vegetable in advance – it is better to steam it or bake it in the oven. I do not recommend boiling pumpkin; it will become too watery and lose a little of its natural rich taste. To make the drink even tastier, use cinnamon, vanilla sugar and a little honey. It will turn out more aromatic and sweet. A smoothie made from pumpkin and orange is not only tasty, but also extremely healthy.
We'll tell you how to make pumpkin smoothies quickly and easily. Rinse the pumpkin, cut off the skin and remove the inner pulp and seeds. Cut into medium pieces - this way it will bake faster in the oven.
Place the vegetable pieces in a baking dish, sprinkle with cinnamon and vanilla sugar to enhance the aroma. In this form, even those who don’t like it will like it.
Bake in the oven for 25 minutes until soft, in this form the pieces will be easy to chop in a blender. Cool the baked pumpkin completely.
Squeeze part of the orange through a juicer to obtain 100-150 ml of liquid. Peel the remaining pulp and cut into medium pieces.
Place the baked pumpkin in a blender bowl, pour in the orange juice, add orange slices and honey for sweetness. You can adjust the amount of honey to taste. If you like a sweet smoothie, add a little more honey.
Close the blender with a lid and blend all the ingredients to make a smoothie. If you like it more liquid, you can add a few tablespoons of water.
