Do you have spoiled milk left in the refrigerator? It can be used for delicious homemade baked goods! Prepare openwork pancakes with spoiled milk. To create a large number of small holes on the surface of delicate products, add a little soda to the dough. Thanks to this secret ingredient, the pancake mixture will be filled with air bubbles. They will burst during baking and form neat empty spaces. If you have a large family, double or triple the amount of ingredients needed.
By the time the dough is prepared, spoiled milk, boiled water and egg should be at room temperature. Flour must be sifted to enrich it with oxygen. To mix the pancake mixture for pancakes with spoiled milk, use any deep container. Break an egg into it, add salt and sugar. Using a hand whisk, mix the ingredients together. The egg white should become more fluid, and the salt and sugar should completely dissolve.
Add spoiled milk and soda to the egg mixture. Stir and wait until the reaction occurs and the resulting mixture increases in volume.
Add flour and mix. We get a thick dough.
Pour in vegetable oil and boiled water. Mix everything again. Leave the pancake mixture on the table for 10 minutes to release the gluten.
To ensure that the finished products turn over easily and have a beautiful pattern, we prepare a frying pan for use. It is desirable that it has a non-stick coating. Keep the frying pan over high heat and grease it with a small amount of vegetable oil before each portion of dough. First pour the pancake mixture into the center of the pan, and then quickly distribute it over the entire surface in a circular motion.
Fry the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Transfer the finished products to a flat dish and cover.
A simple recipe for openwork pancakes with spoiled milk is ready! Serve them warm with any sweet fillings and sauces.
Enjoy your meal!
