To start preparing the Olivier salad recipe with red fish, boil all the root vegetables and chicken eggs. Rinse the vegetables well and cook in their skins for 25 minutes, check for softness, puncture with a fork or knife. Separately boil hard-boiled eggs. Boil them in boiling water for 8-9 minutes, then drain the hot water and cover with cold water to cool the eggs faster. Peel off cooled potatoes and carrots. Cut vegetables into medium cubes.
Peel the chicken eggs and also cut into medium-sized cubes.
Grind salted red fish, cut with a knife into small pieces. You can salt the fish yourself, then you will know exactly what it tastes like. If you bought fish in a store, then try it, then adjust the salad for salt. If the fish is well salted, then do not add much salt to the salad or do not put salt at all.
Pickled cucumbers also cut into cubes. Use cucumbers that are not too acidic.
Combine all chopped ingredients and add canned green peas to them. Mix everything well.
Now add mayonnaise and spices to taste. Ground black pepper is ideal for vegetables and fish.
Mix the salad, and let it stand in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes, infuse and cool.
