For an everyday lunch or dinner, I suggest preparing a delicious and satisfying salad with canned fish and classic vegetables. Here is a simple recipe that any housewife can handle. Cook all the root vegetables in advance, then you can prepare the dish in 20 minutes. You will need potatoes, carrots and pickles. Also take eggs and mayonnaise for dressing. The main ingredient will be any canned fish. It can be tuna or sardines in oil, your choice. It is the fish that gives it a unique and bright aroma. Combined with vegetables it is very tasty!
Prepare all the vegetables and boil all the necessary ingredients in advance. To do this, rinse the potatoes and carrots well, boil the root vegetables until soft. They cook for about 20 minutes, then cool completely, draining all the water. Also hard boil chicken eggs. Cook the eggs for 8-9 minutes in boiling water. Then fill them with cold water and let them cool in this form. Then clean all the cooked ingredients.
Cut the boiled potatoes into medium cubes for salad. Cooked and cooled in advance, it will cut well and will not stick too much to the knife.
Chop the carrots in the same way. Its pleasant sweetness will make the salad taste good. In addition, bright cubes will give the snack an attractive look.
Chop the boiled chicken eggs and cut them into small cubes. They will make the dish more nutritious and satisfying.
Cut the pickled cucumbers into medium cubes, cutting off all the tails. It is the salted fruits that balance the taste of the salad and make it harmonious.
Drain all the oil from canned fish, remove large ridges, and shred the fish with a fork.
Add all the chopped ingredients to the canned fish. Add potatoes, carrots and cucumbers.
Season vegetable salad with canned fish with salt and pepper to taste, season with mayonnaise. The sauce can be either homemade or store-bought.
Stir the appetizer several times and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
