Chicken liver can be used to make soups, pates and other appetizers. This product is very versatile and has high value. Liver salads are no less delicious! We offer an original recipe where chicken liver goes well with oranges. Every gourmet will appreciate this duet! For the salad, fry the poultry offal until done. You will also need greens, chicken eggs and any nuts for piquancy. Juicy oranges will set off the rich taste of chicken liver and give the dish a bright citrus aroma. Chicken liver salad with oranges is dietary and very healthy. It can be prepared quickly for lunch or served for dinner as a light snack.
Wash the chicken liver, remove any remaining water with napkins, clean the product from films and fat. Cut it into large pieces.
Grease the frying pan with oil, put all the offal. Fry it on medium heat for 5-7 minutes, turning it over on each side so that it is fried evenly. Salt and pepper to taste. For the salad, the chicken liver will be used warm.
Peel the oranges, cut off all membranes and partitions, cut the fruit into medium pieces or slices.
Prepare a salad dressing – mix olive oil with honey, add a little lemon juice and mix well.
Prepare a salad bowl, put pre-washed and dried lettuce leaves in there. In addition to lettuce leaves, you can use baby spinach or iceberg lettuce, which is also great!
Spread warm fried chicken liver on a bed of greens. Add the cooked eggs cut into slices. Boil the eggs hard in advance, cool and peel them.
Distribute the orange pieces and add any nuts. In this recipe, we used roasted cashews. Walnuts or peanuts will also work.
