Soup with pelmeni will definitely become your favorite when you want a quick and satisfying lunch. If you have a few frozen semi-finished products left in your freezer, there will be just enough to cook a delicious and filling lunch for the whole family. Even children will be happy to catch delicious pelmeni from the plate.
For the soup recipe, use any products – both homemade and store-bought. Pelmeni can be classic size or miniature. By using such semi-finished products, you will save time preparing the dish as a whole. After all, you don’t have to cook the meat broth separately. Also add potatoes and fried vegetables to the pelmeni soup recipe with photo. All you have to do is add fresh herbs and the recipe is ready!
We tell you how to prepare soup with pelmeni simply and quickly! First, peel the potatoes and rinse them. Cut the root vegetables into medium pieces.
Boil water in a saucepan, add potatoes and salt to taste. Cook the potatoes for 10-12 minutes.
While the potatoes are boiling, prepare a roast from the most available vegetables. Peel the onions and carrots. Cut the onion into small cubes, and grate the carrots - this way they will cook faster.
Fry vegetables in a frying pan with vegetable oil for 3-4 minutes, stir occasionally. You can add diced sweet peppers to the roast. Peppers can be either fresh or frozen.
When the potatoes are almost ready, add the frozen pelmeni to the soup and stir them immediately to prevent them from sticking together.
Next, add the vegetable mixture. Stir again and cook the soup for about 8-9 minutes until the pelmeni are ready. If they are store-bought, read on the packaging how long they need to be cooked. The main thing is that they do not boil over.
At the end, add finely chopped dill or any other fresh herbs to the soup. Pepper it to taste.
The dish is ready - both the pelmeni and the potatoes are completely cooked. Turn on the fire.
Serve hot soup with pelmeni and potatoes. You can always supplement it with sour cream and slices of crusty bread.
Enjoy your meal!
