Fried chicken chops thigh fillet are tasty, unusual and appetizing! If you can’t buy ready-made thigh fillets, cutting them at home isn’t that difficult. Chicken thighs have one bone, which is easy to cut off, leaving only the skin to remove. While chops are often prepared from chicken breast fillet, here the recipe is more unconventional and original. Chicken breast may be dry and tough after frying. And the thighs have more tender meat, which means the chops will turn out juicy and softer. Fried chicken chops can be served as a main hot dish with any side dish. Any vegetable salad and fresh herbs will also go well with them.
Cut the chicken thigh fillet like a book to make a chop. Use a mallet and beat the meat thoroughly.
Season the chop with salt and pepper to taste, and add ground paprika and turmeric for extra color and flavor. You can use any spices you wish. Here you can exclude something or, on the contrary, add something.
Prepare the batter for the chops. Beat a chicken egg into a deep bowl, add mayonnaise and wheat flour. Salt and pepper to taste.
Mix the batter well with a hand whisk so that there are no lumps of flour. Do not make the batter very thick, but also very liquid - this way it can flow off the meat and not linger on it. It's important that the mixture sticks to the chops, sealing the thighs so they retain all the juices.
Dip the chop into the batter on all sides. Let the excess drain.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and place the meat in the batter and let it fry. The chops are quite large in size, so they may not all fit into the pan at once.
Cook fried chicken chops in a frying pan for 5-7 minutes on both sides, turn the heat to slightly less than medium. Let the meat cook well inside and become golden brown. Fry all the pieces in this way.
Serve hot, aromatic and delicious batter-fried chicken chops to the table. This meat just melts in your mouth. The batter is tender and soft after frying, holds well and does not fall off. Thigh fillet is juicy and incredibly tasty!
