Immediately set the broth to simmer. Boil water in a saucepan, add salt to taste, then place the washed chicken in it. For broth, use any parts. Chicken thighs, drumsticks or wings will all work. While the broth is cooking, peel and cut the potatoes into medium cubes.
Cook the chicken broth for 20 minutes, then add the potatoes and cook everything together for another 10-15 minutes. The potatoes should become soft.
Meanwhile, peel the remaining vegetables – onions and carrots. Then grate the carrots and cut the onion into small cubes.
