Calla lilies appetizer has an original look and spicy taste. Each of your guests will want to know what these edible “flowers” are made of. On the festive table, it will look very dignified and bright. Anyone who loves cheese snacks, take this recipe. In fact, everything is easy and simple to prepare. Here you need to show a little imagination to make the dish appetizing. To shape the appetizer into flowers, use soft melted cheese toast. For the filling, use eggs, regular processed cheese, garlic and mayonnaise. To give the flowers a more realistic bouquet shape, use any fresh herb. Let’s cook a Calla lilies appetizer right now!
Prepare the appetizer filling. Hard boil a chicken egg, boil it in boiling water for 8-9 minutes, then cool in cold water and peel. Now grate it on a fine grater. To it, grate ordinary processed cheese on a fine grater and mix everything with mayonnaise. Squeeze a clove of garlic through a press. Add salt and ground black pepper to taste. Stir again and you're done. It tastes aromatic and slightly spicy.
Since our Calla appetizer is made from processed cheese, we will open it by removing the packaging film. Open slowly so as not to damage the soft cheese.
Put 1.5 teaspoon of the filling in the center of the cheese plate.
Bring two opposite ends of the toasted cheese together, pressing down lightly on the edges. The cheese will immediately stick together and take the correct shape - you get a blank for the Calla flower.
Make a crab stick pestle. Cut the red part of the crab sticks into small strips and insert into the soft cheese and egg filling.
Prepare all Calla flowers in this way by wrapping stuffed toast cheese. Put the blanks on a plate. Now decorate the snack with fresh herbs to make a green bouquet. For this we used green onion feathers and parsley sprigs. You can also take dill, arugula or basil leaves. Serve chilled at the table. Snack "Calla" recipe will fit perfectly into any holiday menu and will certainly please you and your guests!
Enjoy your meal!
