Yeast dough is an eternal classic for pies. Each housewife has her own tricks and secrets, and we will share our recipe. Today we will share a quick recipe for yeast dough for pies with milk. Add sugar and salt to the sifted flour. Heat the milk to 60-70 degrees and melt the butter in it, stirring constantly. As soon as the milk has cooled to 30-40 degrees, add yeast and 1 egg to it. Mix the mixture and pour it into the flour.
Now knead the fluffy dough for yeast pies in milk with your hands or with a food processor for 2-3 minutes until it easily comes away from the bowl.
Grease the container with oil, put the dough in it and cover with film. Leave it in this form for 30-40 minutes. Yeast works better in warm conditions, so you can leave the bowl near a radiator or hot stove.
Punch down the dough and divide into 6 parts. From the specified volume of flour, pieces are obtained weighing 60-70 g.
Using your hands, stretch the dough into a flat cake. Spread 1-2 tsp. any filling and pinch the edges tightly. The delicious dough for pies with yeast and milk in this recipe is universal, so any filling, both sweet and salty, will work well.
Place the pies on a baking sheet. Remember that they will increase noticeably in volume in the oven, so do not place the pieces close together. Cover them with a towel and let them stand for 15-20 minutes.
Then brush the tops of the pies with a mixture of egg yolk and milk. Place in the oven to bake for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees.
Homemade pies with fluffy dough can be served straight from the oven. Hot and aromatic - incredibly tasty!
