A simple and affordable recipe for Japanese cuisine. Udon noodles with mushrooms can easily be recreated at home. With all the ingredients, you can quickly prepare a delicious, easy dinner for the whole family. In this case, you don’t even need meat. The hardest part will be finding special Udon noodles on sale. It is often sold in the Japanese goods department and is quite inexpensive. Also buy champignons, sweet peppers, some onions and garlic. Use regular soy sauce as a dressing – it is aromatic and piquant. Udon noodles with mushrooms are a delicious and filling dish that you will want to make again.
Rinse the champignons, peel and cut into medium-thick slices. If the mushrooms are small, then cut them into 2 equal parts - this will be enough.
Peel all other vegetables - onions, bell peppers and garlic. Cut the pepper and onion into small strips. Chop the garlic as little as possible or squeeze it through a press.
Heat a little oil in a frying pan, add the mushrooms and fry them for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
Then add the vegetables. They will add juiciness, additional taste and bright color to the dish. It is advisable to use red bell pepper for this recipe. If you like spicy dishes, add a little chili pepper.
Mix mushrooms with vegetables, fry everything together for 3-4 minutes over medium heat, add salt and black pepper to taste.
While the vegetables are roasting, prepare the noodles. Please refer to the instructions on the packaging here. Place the Udon in boiling water and cook until tender, then drain all the liquid into the sink. We cooked the products for 4 minutes.
Add cooked Udon to the pan with mushrooms and vegetables. Pour in soy sauce and stir.
Cook the noodles in the pan for a couple more minutes and you're done. Turn off the heat.
