Many housewives bring such a recipe from Turkey, since it was there that they first tasted such a dish. However, cooking it at home is not difficult. For the pilaf recipe, you will need rice, thin vermicelli and butter. Everything is very simple! The rice turns out very crumbly, and the vermicelli is insanely fragrant. You can serve such a side dish with greens, vegetable salad or fried meat. In Turkey, a lot of dishes are prepared from rice, and even desserts. Such cereals are often present in the diet and are very popular. We invite you to cook Turkish pilav with us!
Melt the butter in a frying pan, turn on medium heat, add thin vermicelli.
Fry the vermicelli for 2-3 minutes until browned. Let's stir so that the pasta is fried as much as possible on all sides.
Pour well-washed rice into a pan with fried vermicelli.
Mix rice with vermicelli and fry everything together for a couple more minutes.
Pour hot water into the pan, add salt to taste.
We cook Turkish pilaf for 10-15 minutes under a lid over low heat. Rice and vermicelli should completely absorb all the liquid. Rice should be completely soft and cooked through.
Mix rice with noodles, cover the pan with a paper towel and a lid. Let the garnish infuse for 10 minutes.
Our Turkish Pilav recipe is ready. Serve hot Turkish pilav to the table. Each grain of rice crumbles, and with fried vermicelli it is very tasty. The garnish looks very original, and the aroma is simply magical.
Enjoy your meal!
