Are your kids asking you to bake pizza like in the school cafeteria? Take our simple recipe and make them happy. A tasty little homemade school pizza can be used as a filling snack at home. Or at work, take it with you on the road or on a picnic.
Preparing dough for school pizza. Add yeast and sugar to warm water. Mix lightly and keep the liquid on the work surface for 10 minutes.
After activating the yeast, add salt and beat in the egg. Using a whisk, combine the products together.
Add half the amount of flour and form a homogeneous lump. Then add soft butter. Add the second part of the flour. Knead the dough first in a bowl and then on the table. This process takes about 5 minutes. Return the dough to the bowl, cover it with a towel and leave for 50 minutes.
Place the risen dough on the table, knead and cut into four portions. Use your palms to roll smooth balls. Cover them with film and leave for 10 minutes.
We chop the ingredients for the filling of our school pizza recipe. Cut the sausage and cucumber into small cubes, grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out each dough ball into a flat cake with a diameter of 15 cm. Transfer the dough circles to parchment. Using a silicone brush, lubricate the pieces with ketchup. Lay out the sausage pieces.
Then distribute the pickled cucumber cubes evenly. Sprinkle them with grated cheese. Leave the edges of the dough empty. Place the baking sheet with the prepared products into an oven preheated to 200˚C. Baking time – 15 minutes. The signal that the dish is ready will be the rosy edges of the dough and well-melted cheese.
A simple recipe for homemade school pizza is ready! We transfer the aromatic products to a dish and serve. We complement them with any cold or hot drink.
