We would like to share with you a simple and affordable recipe – rice with duck in a frying pan, which is very easy to prepare. A great dish for your everyday diet, lunch or dinner for the whole family! The rice will be crumbly, and the duck meat will be tender and soft. Use any rice – both round and long will do. Even with round rice, the dish will not look like porridge. Also take some vegetables – carrots and onions, they will give the rice with duck in a frying pan a beautiful shade and a delicate sweetish taste. Since duck is a very aromatic bird, additional spices are not needed to enhance the taste.
We tell you how to cook duck with rice simply and quickly. Rinse the bird and divide it into pieces, cut the meat along the joints. Use any parts for the recipe. Legs (shins), wings, thighs or breasts are suitable here. Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and add the washed, napkin-dried duck pieces. Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste, fry until golden brown for 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally.
While the meat is roasting, prepare the necessary vegetables. Peel the onions and carrots, rinse them, then chop them. Cut the onion into medium cubes, and simply grate the carrots on a coarse grater.
Add chopped carrots and onions to the duck, stir and fry everything together for another 4-5 minutes.
Then pour in hot water and simmer the meat for 20-25 minutes, until almost done.
Rinse the rice under running water, drain all the liquid, and pour the cereal into the frying pan with the duck.
Smooth out the grain, mix it with the poultry and bring to a boil. Turn the heat to low and cook the duck and rice, covered, for 15 minutes. The cereal should become soft.
As a result, it turns out crumbly, tasty and aromatic. The meat will be fully cooked and will fall off the bones easily.
