Lacy pancakes with holes made with milk and yeast are good both on their own and in combination with any fillings. Serve them with jam, honey, condensed milk, melted chocolate or seasonal fruit. Since milk pancakes with holes are made with yeast, we prepare the base. Pour 100 ml of warm milk into a suitable container, add sugar and yeast. Using a whisk, mix the products together. Leave the dough for 15 minutes on the table to activate the yeast and completely dissolve the sugar.
In a separate container, beat the egg. Pour it into the suitable yeast. Mix.
Heat the second half of the milk until warm. Add it to the yeast mixture.
Add sifted flour in small portions.
Add salt and half the amount of vegetable oil. Mix. Cover the resulting dough and leave it warm for 30 minutes.
After half an hour, the dough will double in volume. Stir it and leave it warm for another 30 minutes.
At the next stage, pour in the remaining vegetable oil. Mix everything well. The resulting dough should have a consistency similar to thick sour cream.
Fry the pancakes on both sides in a well-heated non-stick frying pan. Lubricate it with a small amount of vegetable oil before each portion of dough. The most convenient way to do this is with a silicone brush. Pour in 2/3 of a ladle of dough.
The less pancake mixture there is in the pan, the more holes will appear on the surface of the products.
Place the prepared yeast and milk pancakes with holes in a stack and cover to keep them warm. Serve them warm with any additions.
