Today we invite you to prepare a delicious Olivier salad without carrots. If boiled carrots are not popular in your family, then the recipe will definitely come in handy. It will decorate your holiday lunch or Sunday family dinner. All ingredients are available and inexpensive, the dish is easy and simple to prepare at home. The base will be boiled sausage. It should be of high quality, tasty and aromatic. If you boil the potatoes and eggs in advance, preparing the salad will not take you more than 20 minutes. Also, the classic recipe only contains pickled cucumbers. We suggest adding some fresh cucumbers. This will give the olivier salad without carrots a great taste.
For the Olivier salad recipe without carrots, boil the potatoes and eggs, the rest of the ingredients are ready to use. So, wash the potatoes well, cook them in boiling water until soft, about 20-25 minutes. Then cool, peel and cut into small cubes for salad. Also boil the eggs hard. Boil them for 8-9 minutes in boiling water, then cool, peel and cut into cubes.
Peel the boiled sausage from film and packaging, then cut into medium cubes so that all the ingredients in the salad are approximately the same size.
Now chop all the cucumbers - salted and fresh, cut them into cubes.
Place all ingredients in a deep dish (bowl) - potatoes, eggs, cucumbers and sausage.
Drain all the marinade from the canned peas and add it to the salad. It is important that the peas are soft and tasty. Try it before use.
Season the salad with delicious fatty mayonnaise, salt and pepper to taste, mix thoroughly.
Serve the finished dish to the table, garnished with any fresh herbs. Finely chopped green onions, dill or parsley, whatever you like, will do. Olivier salad without carrots turns out rich and tasty, aromatic and juicy at the same time.
