Turn on the stove and bring the contents of the saucepan to a boil. Reduce the heat to a minimum and simmer the oats until they absorb all the liquid. The next step in the recipe for oatmeal with apple is the most important. It needs to be salted. The secret to a delicious dish lies in the right balance of salt and sugar. First of all, you need to add salt. Its presence should be clearly felt in taste.
