Make these festive mini cinnamon-chocolate crepes for Easter. Your family will be delighted with this unusual delicacy. Delicate pastry with an alluring aroma of butter and cinnamon conquers with its amazing taste. She looks delicious on the table. Let’s make mini cruffins with cinnamon at home!
For the recipe, we will also need 6 paper forms for Easter cakes (7 cm in diameter). Cooking sweet dough. In a deep container, add milk, a tablespoon of sugar, yeast, egg, salt and vegetable oil.
Mix everything well with a whisk.
We add flour. Knead soft elastic dough. We place it in a container greased with vegetable oil, cover with a film and leave it warm for 50 minutes.
While the dough is rising, prepare the filling and topping. Mix the cinnamon powder with the remaining sugar, chop the walnuts with a knife.
After 50 minutes, punch down the dough and divide it into six equal parts. Roll each piece into a smooth ball. Cover the blanks with cling film and leave for 10 minutes on the table.
We create products. Roll out the dough ball into a thin rectangular layer. If necessary, use a small amount of flour.
Divide butter into six equal parts. We spread one piece of butter over the surface of the dough with a knife, silicone spatula or fingers.
Sprinkle the butter with a tablespoon of the cinnamon and sugar mixture. With the palm of your hand, spread the filling over the surface and lightly press it so that it is absorbed into the oil.
We twist a thin roll, gently stretching the dough to the sides.
The resulting tube is cut along, but not completely. We use a sharp knife lubricated with vegetable oil.
We form a kraffin. We twist the half of the tube in the form of a dense horizontal spiral.
Then lift the uncut part and lay it on top. Lay the other half of the tube vertically.
We hide the tail inside the product.
We transfer the blank to a paper form.
Similarly, we form the rest of the kraffins. We send them to the oven preheated to 200˚C. Bake for 35 minutes. After the specified time, we take out the kraffins from the oven, release them from the paper form and cool.
Our little kraffins are ready! To decorate products, prepare the glaze according to the instructions on the package. If we use chocolate, heat it in a water bath. Turn the cruffin over, dip into the glaze, turn over again and put on a plate. Sprinkle it with chopped walnuts and decorate with colorful confetti.
Enjoy your meal!
