Appetizing Brazilian cuisine is famous for its simplicity and ease of preparation. Among the various traditional dishes of this country, a jellied pie with chicken and vegetables occupies a worthy place. It refers to baking in haste. A simple and versatile recipe for a tender and satisfying dish. It makes it possible to quickly get a nutritious and aromatic snack for a family lunch or dinner.
We are preparing the stuffing. In a pan with vegetable oil, fry the finely chopped onion.
Pour in the chicken broth. Bring the resulting liquid to a boil.
Add shredded chicken breast.
We add paprika. We mix everything.
Put the olive rings and corn into the pan.
To the resulting mixture, add ketchup, chopped parsley, marjoram, paprika, salt and chili pepper. All components are mixed together. Simmer for a couple of minutes until the excess liquid has evaporated.
Let's move on to the test. In a deep bowl, using an immersion blender, combine flour, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, baking powder and salt.
We get the dough, which in consistency resembles thick sour cream.
Our jellied chicken pie is in the oven, so we take a small heat-resistant form, grease it with softened butter, lightly sprinkle with flour. The approximate dimensions of the container are 20 by 20 cm. Pour half the dough into the mold. We distribute it over the surface.
Spread the filling in an even layer.
Sprinkle chicken with vegetables and spices with large chips of hard cheese.
Pour the remaining dough on top. Level the surface of the cake with a silicone spatula.
Preheat the oven to 190˚C. Bake the cake for 30-35 minutes.
A simple recipe for a jellied chicken pie is ready - the dish is slightly cooled and removed from the mold. Cut the pie into portions and serve.
