No one will argue that lace pancakes with a large number of holes have a very attractive appearance. And also amazing taste. You can prepare thin and delicate openwork products in different ways. Any dairy product can be used as the basis for this homemade cake. Or plain water. And if you combine the two bases with each other, you get a gorgeous nutritious dish. Beautiful custard pancakes made with kefir and eggs can be offered to your everyday or holiday table. And complement them with any sauces or additives.
By the time the pancakes are cooked, the kefir and egg should be at room temperature. The flour must be sifted. To prepare pancake dough, take a container of suitable size. Pour kefir into it. Add egg, baking soda, sugar and salt. Using a whisk, combine the products with each other and beat them thoroughly. The sugar and salt should be completely dissolved, and the egg should have a more liquid texture.
Add sunflower oil to the resulting mixture. We connect everything together.
Add the previously sifted flour in small portions. Knead a thick dough of uniform texture.
Boil water. Immediately pour it into the dough in a thin stream and actively mix the ingredients. The dough is ready. Let it sit for about 10 minutes and start baking the products.
To work with pancake dough, we use a special frying pan with a special coating. Using a silicone brush, grease it with a small amount of sunflower oil, place it on the stove and heat it up. Pour in half a ladle of dough. Using gentle movements, distribute it over the entire area. The main condition for obtaining a lace pattern is hot oil in a frying pan and a thin layer of dough.
Bake the pancakes on both sides until golden brown. Transfer the hot items to a flat plate and cover to keep them warm.
Place the finished custard pancakes with kefir and eggs on a serving dish and serve warm.
Enjoy your meal!
