There are many recipes for the famous pasta with carbonara sauce. Some people like to add cream or replace the bacon with chicken or brisket. Our recipe features classic pasta carbonara with bacon. This is what Italian chefs prepare. Carbonara itself is a sauce made from raw egg yolks, hard cheese (Parmesan or Pecorino Romano) and spices. Classic pasta carbonara with bacon without cream is incredibly easy to prepare. And the dish itself turns out very tasty. Quickly cook the pasta until al dente. While it’s cooking, fry the bacon in a frying pan. Combine the ingredients, season with carbonara and enjoy the taste of real Italy.
Place a pan of water on the stove, place the spaghetti in boiling water and cook according to the instructions until al dente. Don't forget to stir constantly so that the pasta doesn't stick together. When they are cooked, drain the water, after pouring out about one glass of broth. We will need it later.
While the pasta is cooking, cut all the bacon strips into medium-sized pieces.
Heat the sunflower oil and a piece of butter in a frying pan. Place the bacon pieces on a hot surface and fry them until golden crisp over medium heat.
Next, prepare the carbonara sauce itself - grate the Parmesan cheese on a fine grater.
Add egg yolks to the cheese, season with salt and ground black pepper.
Mix the sauce thoroughly to combine the ingredients.
Add bacon and half a glass of broth to the finished spaghetti and mix gently with a special spoon. You can use two forks. Place the prepared sauce on top of the still hot pasta. Parmesan will melt under the influence of temperature, but the yolk will not turn into an omelette. Mix all the ingredients so that the carbonara is evenly distributed throughout the dish. If this consistency is too thick for you, add more broth.
