Thin chocolate pancakes are a universal pastry for holidays and for every day. These delicate products can be served for breakfast or used as a snack throughout the day. They can also be offered for evening tea. And also include it in the children’s menu on the occasion of a birthday or any other holiday. The proposed recipe for chocolate milk pancakes is convenient because the dough can be prepared the night before. And bake pancakes the next day. If necessary, chocolate can be easily replaced with cocoa powder, which is mixed with flour. You will need no more than 20 grams of cocoa. At the same time, we also reduce the amount of flour by 20 grams.
In a deep container, using a hand whisk, beat the egg with salt and sugar until smooth and light foam forms on the surface.
Melt butter and chocolate in a water bath or in the microwave. Add the resulting liquid to the egg mixture. Mix everything well.
Our chocolate pancakes with milk - pour it in a volume of 200 ml. Mix. Add sifted flour. Knead a thick, homogeneous dough.
Pour in the remaining milk and vegetable oil. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Leave the dough on the counter for 15 minutes to release the gluten.
We bake pancakes. Using a silicone brush, grease a well-heated frying pan with a thin layer of vegetable oil. Pour in half a ladle of dough. Rotate the pan so that the dough is evenly distributed throughout the circle. As soon as the surface of the pancake becomes dry, turn it over to the other side and keep it on the stove for about a minute. Place the finished products in a stack and cover with a pan lid so that the edges become soft and elastic. Then we fold them into triangles or roll them into rolls.
The chocolate pancake recipe is ready! Serve them as an independent dish with honey, jam or confiture. If desired, stuff them with cottage cheese, seasonal berries or fruits. For a festive presentation, use powdered sugar, nut crumbs, ice cream or whipped cream.
