An Asian-style dish that can easily be repeated at home. Chicken in soy sauce in the oven in foil is tasty and nutritious, aromatic and piquant! This sauce goes perfectly with poultry and gives it a special oriental flavor. Using a minimum set of products, you can prepare a decent dinner for the whole family. It is very convenient to cook this dish in the oven in foil. Thanks to the foil, the meat will cook faster. Just set the timer and in 35-40 minutes the delicious chicken will be ready. It will turn out as juicy, soft and tender as possible. You can cook any side dish you like with it – rice, spaghetti or potatoes.
Let's start the recipe for chicken in soy sauce in the oven with the drumsticks - rinse, trim the meat from feathers, if any. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper. It’s just worth noting that you may need very little salt, since soy sauce is quite salty.
Prepare the marinade: pour soy sauce, vegetable oil and rice vinegar into a deep bowl. It is rice vinegar that will give the bird a piquant note and slight sourness. It has a slightly sweet taste and delicate aroma. This vinegar perfectly softens chicken meat. If yours is a bit sour, no problem, just add a couple of pinches of sugar. Stir the marinade to combine all ingredients.
You need to marinate the chicken in soy sauce for the oven - place the drumsticks in the marinade. Mix thoroughly and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably a couple of hours if you have free time.
Then line the baking dish with foil, place the marinated chicken there and pour in all the marinade, it will also be needed for baking. Cover the edges of the foil and place the meat in the oven to bake.
Bake the chicken for 30 minutes in the oven at 180°C, then carefully open the edges of the foil so as not to burn yourself. Then increase the temperature to 220°C and bake the drumsticks for another 10 minutes until golden brown.
Serve the dish hot. The chicken has a great flavor and turned out incredibly tasty. You can also serve it with any vegetable salad or herbs. Chicken baked in soy sauce in the oven can brighten up your daily diet and complement a festive dinner with friends.
