350 gr Milk condensed with sugar
20 gr Butter High fat
70 gr Flakes coconut 50 gr. for the base and 20 gr. for sprinkling
Brazilian candy Coconut kiss – the most delicate delicacy. Not a single holiday in Brazil is complete without it. For one wedding or a big party, they are ordered at least 100 pieces. Delicious treat with few ingredients is easy and simple to prepare. The caramel base is cooked for no more than 15 minutes, but its stabilization requires a little patience. Before forming sweets, the finished product is kept at room temperature for five to six hours. Cooking delicious Brazilian sweets from condensed milk at home!
To make Brazilian sweets, combine condensed milk and butter in a non-stick thick-walled container. The resulting mixture is heated until smooth.
Add 50 grams of coconut flakes. We mix.
After the mixture boils, reduce the heat to a minimum. Cook the base for sweets with continuous stirring for 10-15 minutes. When the mass becomes thick and stops spreading along the bottom of the container, turn off the stove. We continue to mix the caramel base for another two minutes.
Spread the mixture in an even layer on a wide flat plate.
We cover the caramel in contact with cling film, leave it on the desktop for 5-6 hours.
We tear off small pieces weighing 16-18 grams from a well-frozen mass. We roll the balls, roll them on all sides in coconut flakes.
